Last weekend the Bord Gais Energy Theatre hosted OFFSET, which since 2009 has become one of the world’s foremost conferences for the creative and design industries. It attracts from all over the world leading figures from the creative industries, both as presenters and as attendees. Its list of past speakers reads like a who’s-who of icons, with names such as Sir Peter Blake, Stefan Sagmeister and George Lois featuring over the years. So it was a massive honour for Chemistry to feature not once, but twice in this year’s line-up. On Saturday, the Main Stage saw Creative Directors Mike Garner and Emmet Wright take a very appreciative and engaged audience through Chemistry’s unrivalled portfolio of award-winning work, illustrating learnings and insights that we’ve amassed in the agency’s 18 years. Then on Sunday, MD Ray Sheerin and Mark Tuthill, writer of the ground-breaking ‘Get Cancer’ work for the Irish Cancer Society captivated the audience on the Second Stage with an in-depth look at the campaign. It was a fantastic experience for all of us at Chemistry. And one we’d love to repeat! Many thanks to all at OFFSET.
